The mine adds both a gem production line and an Explore Cave risk minigame. They are related to the same area but use different decisions.

1. Open the area
Get dynamite from the beanstalk/Guy challenge and use it at the blocked mine entrance. Inside, the recorded build offers pickaxe upgrades, gem rocks, mine workers and a processing line.
2. Treat tool level as the first gate
A walkthrough shows some rocks rejecting the current tool while lower-tier rocks remain collectible. Upgrade the pickaxe before assuming a gem color or rock is broken.
3. Follow gems through processing
Place collected gems into the mine’s production path and watch them pass through the available processing purchases. Hire workers only after you can identify which gathering or carry step they automate.
4. The cave panel is a risk decision

Cash out or risk it
This exact wording was visible in a September 23 completion recording. It means the next choice is not a guaranteed reward: collecting preserves the current result; continuing accepts the chance of hitting a hidden bomb.
